October

The kids needed eye exams for school so we took them up to the base where they have a great medical facility.  The doctor was so sweet with the kids, he let them look into the scope to see each other's eye up close.  They liked the funky glasses they got to wear. Scott works minutes away so we stopped by his office to give him a hug.

The kids' eyes were perfect, but my prescription changed so I got new glasses!

We loved seeing the fall colors! We hadn't seen the trees change color for two years!

Halloween came and Madelyn and Ian's school had a fun trick or treat walk. Ian was Olaf and Madelyn wanted to wear last year's costume Rey.

Ian's friend was Anna!
Then for our church party and actual Halloween Madelyn was a broken doll. I was called to be in the primary presidency and we were in charge of the games, I made the mystery boxes with eyeballs, witch hair, brains, monster ears, etc, the kids loved it!

On Halloween night we were warned by our neighbors that our neighborhood was THE place to be to trick or treat. It was very busy with kids and so fun! Rylan wasn't going to trick or treat then his friend Mateo was dressed as a missionary and he was like, "hey you need a companion!" So they went around the neighborhood and shared spiritual messages with people and got a lot of candy! Ian got sick and had to stay in bed, but Rylan and Madelyn were more than happy to share their candy with him after he got better.

We love our new neighborhood!
