Christmas & New Years!

Scott's uncle Ken and his cousin Ashley (and baby Cooper) came to visit us for Christmas. After not having family near us for so long for holidays we really got so lucky to be able to have family back to back for the holidays.  Here is the honorary matching Christmas jammies picture, this year I decided that I needed some too. Star Wars!

We had a nice ham Christmas Eve dinner then Scott read us the story of Jesus's birth and we set out cookies and milk for Santa.  Christmas morning the kids came running down the stairs to find what Santa had left for them.

The men had to take naps, like uncle, like nephew!  I enjoyed holding baby Cooper and hearing him coo to his mama.

Rylan has been asking for a suit for years!  We thought it was finally time to get him one...we will see how long it fits, he is growing like a weed! We got some fun new games like Hedbanz and Telestrations.
After Christmas we made plans to drive to see our friends the Foxes!  They were our very best friends in Chicago and they have since moved to Virginia. Our friendship picked up right where it left off from 2 1/2 years ago.  They took us to a cool Aerospace Museum, and Rylan went to a youth multi stake dance with Jolie and Genna

Their youngest Jocelyn was just a baby when we left so it was so cute to see her be so sweet to Scott and Ian. Ok she loved Ian! There was a lot of snuggling going on.

Lisa and I had a kid free afternoon and went to go see "The Greatest Showman" then the boys watched an intense football game while the moms took the kids rollerskating.

Then for New Years we had a party with cheese and chocolate fondue and games!

Everyone stayed up until midnight!!! I couldn't believe that the kids lasted but they were so busy having fun with their friends. When the clock stuck 12:00 we had sparkling cider and cheered!
