After Myrtle Beach I took the kids up to Virginia to Oma and Opa's house while Scott drove home. Grammy and Breezi + kids were going to be there so we had to take this opportunity to go. We got all of Rylan's school work early so we could work on it while we were there. Everyone had a buddy, Alli and Rylan paired off and played, Maggie and Maddy even grew close together. Ian and his twin cousins Miles and Dexter were even caught having secret baby meetings. It was a blast! We have been wanting to go to Myrtle Beach for a long time now, but things kept coming up, sickness, a hurricane. We finally had a weekend free so we packed up and headed to the beach. Scott had the Friday off so as soon as we were packed and ready we got Rylan out of school around 1:30 and we were on our way. It took about 2 1/2 hours to get there. Scott found a 2 bedroom condo for the weekend at a great price. It was right next to a golf course with a little creek running next to it. We had a screened in porch. . . A full kitchen with all appliances and dishware A dinning table and living area, plus a master bedroom with king size bed and a another room with two twin beds We checked in, had dinner then drove to the beach. SEASHELLS! By then it was a bit windy and the sun was starting to set But that didn't stop the kids from being excited! The water felt so warm compared to the Pacific Coast. We walked to a pier and by the time we turned back it was dark, but the kids loved ...

A couple weekends ago we decided to check out downtown Columbia. We were told about a neat store called the Mast General Store. It was pretty cool, lots of candy from when we were kids, fun clothes and unique gifts. After we left we were walking around wondering whether we had it in us to walk all the way to the capital building or not when we saw a person walking strangely up ahead. I honestly at first thought that it was someone with a physical or mental disability, but then I saw more than one and they were walking the same way. As we got closer we could see the tattered clothes and make-up. . . Zombies! There was a bar across the street playing music outside, they had some performers trying to draw some people in. The zombies we saw were now crossing the street over to the bar where we saw more zombies...hum I was suspicious and I could feel in my dancing loins that something was up. I wanted to stick around, but the kids were getting restless so we walked a little, but turned arou...

Ian's 8 th month proved to be be very productive! All in a matter of weeks he perfected crawling and sitting in between, pulling himself up, and cruising around the furniture. He is very proud of himself and is now very fast at moving around. He is so bubbly and fun! He loves to play and explore. He wants to be held to see the tall view of things, yet he wants to get down so he can go where he wants. He thinks it is funny when he can dangle things in his mouth. He has figured out that he can carry something in his mouth, yep like a dog. He loves to sleep on his belly with his butt up in the air. He loves to be outside and when Maddy is playing on our balcony he wants to be out there too and will wait for her to come inside. He adores Madelyn, she can get him laughing like no one else, all with some silly facial expressions. There is always a lot of drool, but no teeth yet. You're a cutie Ian!
