We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.

 (Early Spring 2022)  Ian was selected to read his essay at his DARE graduation! They called the top three essays for each class and Ian’s was picked to read for Mr Thompson’s class. They had to read their essay on the spot in front of the whole 5th grade and their parents! He was just getting over a sickness so his voice was a bit crackly but he did great! He got a big trophy too! I had a cough drop and bottled water in my purse in case he needed it, but he didn’t. Mr. Thompson pulled me aside and jokingly said that he has highly considering holding Ian back so he could be in his class again, he just thinks he is the coolest kid.  Ian has also loved Academic Team this year! He took 4th place in the science assessment category and was able to compete at regionals.                                                      His best buddies Keaton...

 The baby in the family turned six in January!  Seriously, where has the time gone?  Ian is such a great kid. He told me that he has a lot of friends at school because he is the "funny kid."  I believe him because he has us cracking up everyday!  I don't know where he comes up with some of the things he says, but all I know is that I need to watch out what I say because he is watching and listening.    He wanted a Pokemon cake for his birthday He is getting a little bit better at eating, here he is eating my beef enchiladas (which I think are delicious) I just had to document this event because usually he will try what I made and either gag or refuse to eat it so he ends up having a banana or apple for dinner most nights.   I refuse to make him anything different and he has to try what I made in order to get a fruit or vegetable.  This is our favorite face Ian makes!  He does this when he says something funny or if he c...

 Our sweet baby boy Ian turned 4 a couple weeks ago.  We decided to have his birthday party before Grandma & Grandpa left.  Grandma's birthday (Jan 9th) is just 3 days before his on the 11th so we had a joint party!  He wanted to have a pajama party,  and play hide and go seek in the dark.  Ian is into ninja's right now so he got his own sword and costume.                                         You may be wondering about that hat...well Scott bought that hat for him in Boise when he and Ian went on their hunting trip in October.  He loves to wear it and look like daddy, (because Scott can often be seen wearing a hat.)  Now he can play ninjas!  We got an ice cream cake from Oberwiess our favorite dairy/ice cream shop.  Some facts about Ian: *He is very sharp, and loves to d...

January 11th 2014, our little Ian turned 3!  He woke me up, announced it was his birthday and said that he wanted candles in his oatmeal.  I found him a birthday hat and he wore that for half the day.  We took him to a fun train restaurant for lunch  They bring out your meal on a train! Where is that train?  Here it comes!
