Since we left Idaho last year Momma Jody bought a business! She has been long-arm quilting for a couple years now, but when the local fabric shop owner was thinking of retiring she jumped at the chance to buy her out!
She has the place decorated so darling, and very organized. We are so proud of her for what she has accomplished in such a short time. I have even been able to make a few patterns for her to display in her shop!
Here she is teaching a sewing class to kids, talk about patience right?

My favorite event is the barrel racing
and the 3 men wild horse race. This event is crazy and there is always talk of Scott, his dad, and the other men in the family trying it one of these years. There are three men on a team, each team gets a wild horse and a saddle. They have to put the saddle on the horse and ride it across the finish line, if they get bucked off, then they have to chase the horse down and start all over again. Plus there are multiple teams out at the same time trying to do the same thing. I am either covering my eyes, laughing my guts out, or cheering them on. It is insane, but some teams can seriously do it! Some fail miserably. It is very entertaining.
After Border Days we headed to Cascade, ID to go camping for 4 days. The little girls played, the boys fished (they reached their quota every day) and I followed Ian around. We were happy to be reunited with our camper. We played some silly games. . .

We went on a super fun train ride up the Payette River! Ian really liked his Papa.
Scott thought it was high time that his boy learned to use a knife. So they sat down and had a lesson
and Rylan carved a bar of soap into a Bear! It was one of his scout requirements.
We introduced Ian to Nugget the horse or as he calls them "Yee-haws"
While Scott was in town dad got a load of hay so Scott could help him unload it. Love to watch tough men work!
While visiting Adah the Great, this little guys hoarding problem came out
He really liked Adah the Greats' plastic ducks. . .
so much that he kept bringing them to me and not letting anyone else touch them! When I tried to put them back, he screamed and brought them back to me.
