4th of July Festivites
On our way up to our traditonal Border Days celebration we stopped at Anna's. We took the kids to the market, and Anna got these great shots of the kids:

Grammy and Papa's house is filled with wild animals, including this cute baby bunny! Papa caught it just so he could show the kids and let them hold and pet it.

Cowboy Papa thought that Madelyn needed her own pair of pink boots. She saw them and wanted them too. She tried them on and was walking with her legs spread out (like she just got off a long horse ride) and she was really concentraing on talking slow steps. We think she was getting used to the slight heel on the boot. Pretty soon she was able to walk normal in them, and she didn't want to TAKE THEM OFF!

We also went camping along the river. Uncle Ken was kind enough to let us use his trailer so I wouldn't have to get up in the middle of the night, crawl out of the tent and find the bathrooms in the dark (which I have to do a couple times a night)! We had a great time fishing, eating, and playing. There was a huge dirt mountain that Rylan enjoyed climbing and Madddy was happy if she had a licorice in her hand. She also loved to throw rocks in the river. Rylan had some casting issues, he somehow got his line caught on a power line...but the funny thing was that there were about 4 other lines with bobbers on them stuck up there as well! He got pretty good at casting on this trip!
