Look what I can do!

Madelyn has been rocking on her knees for a couple weeks now, and after private crawling lessons from her brother Rylan, she has finally learned how to crawl forward!

She loves that she can chase her brother around now. Rylan has to play with his toys up off the floor or else the "baby giant" comes and wrecks his civilzations. Her poor knees are all red from the carpet, but she doesn't seem to mind.



We catch Maddy doing this a lot, a great "downward dog" yoga position. She thinks it is pretty funny to look at the world from this view.

How fun! Kaylin doesn't seem at all interested in being mobile. She's perfectly content to lay on her back on the floor...

LOVE IT!! Owen did the same thing--Looking upside down at the world--so sweet--I can't wait to see you guys this summer--it can't come soon enough--

Dare Essay winner

 (Early Spring 2022)  Ian was selected to read his essay at his DARE graduation! They called the top three essays for each class and Ian’s was picked to read for Mr Thompson’s class. They had to read their essay on the spot in front of the whole 5th grade and their parents! He was just getting over a sickness so his voice was a bit crackly but he did great! He got a big trophy too! I had a cough drop and bottled water in my purse in case he needed it, but he didn’t. Grandpa & Grandma Young Visit

Grandma & Grandpa Young drove all the way from Idaho to visit us!  It took them 2 1/2 days because they stopped at Mt. Rushmore, but they got here around 1:00 pm and we were all so excited and when Rylan got off the bus, they were there waiting for him! With G & G Young comes the I-pad which is a good way for Grandmas and Grandpas to get to actually hold their grandkids all they want.   Ian learned quite a bit from the I-pad just from their time here.   Ian has learned to say, "cheese" whenever someone points a camera at him  I am sorry to say that we didn't do that much, and when I asked them what they wanted to do they said that just wanted to watch me be a mom and play with the kids. Rylan and the Beginning of Mission Prep
