Hello Gorgeous!


Our friends parents were getting a new stove from a friend who was remodeling but it wasn't going to work out in their house sooo we got it...yes for FREE!
Goodbye 1960's old gas stove that was scary to turn on, made loud clunks, and had burnt plastic pieces. Hello new gas stove that is more efficient, cleaner, and safe!

This new stove inspired Scott to tear up our kitchen floor that was coming apart anyway (whoever put it in did not do a good job). Scott has picked out a new floor, but I have yet to see and improve of it. We want to do something with our cupboards, but what? We don't want to spend $6000 on brand new ones, but the ones we have now are pretty bad quality. It isn't even real wood that we can sand down and re-stain. Anyone have any inspirational ideas?



This is what Scott was doing as I was trying to get ready for my retreat. I had some words for me about timing...but when Scott gets inspired there is no stopping him! He also built me some much needed shelves to go in my kitchen, so I am thankful!

Dare Essay winner

 (Early Spring 2022)  Ian was selected to read his essay at his DARE graduation! They called the top three essays for each class and Ian’s was picked to read for Mr Thompson’s class. They had to read their essay on the spot in front of the whole 5th grade and their parents! He was just getting over a sickness so his voice was a bit crackly but he did great! He got a big trophy too! I had a cough drop and bottled water in my purse in case he needed it, but he didn’t. Mr. Thompson pulled me aside and jokingly said that he has highly considering holding Ian back so he could be in his class again, he just thinks he is the coolest kid.  Ian has also loved Academic Team this year! Grandpa & Grandma Young Visit

Grandma & Grandpa Young drove all the way from Idaho to visit us!  It took them 2 1/2 days because they stopped at Mt. Rushmore, but they got here around 1:00 pm and we were all so excited and when Rylan got off the bus, they were there waiting for him! With G & G Young comes the I-pad which is a good way for Grandmas and Grandpas to get to actually hold their grandkids all they want.   Ian learned quite a bit from the I-pad just from their time here.   Ian has learned to say, "cheese" whenever someone points a camera at him  I am sorry to say that we didn't do that much, and when I asked them what they wanted to do they said that just wanted to watch me be a mom and play with the kids. Rylan and the Beginning of Mission Prep

(Early Spring 2022) Rylan was able to have one last percussion season.
