SAP Training

In the months of February and March Scott was gone for a total of 6 weeks! He did 12 accounting credits and earned his SAP associate consultant certification at Fort Jackson in South Carolina.  We had a lot of FaceTime dates.

Madelyn was the most affected, she needed a lot of extra snuggles to help her get through not having her dad around. Scott and I gave her one of my old lockets with a picture of Scott in it, to wear to help her through.   It helped a little.    But we would much rather have our dad home!

Scott finished his class by noon on a Friday and he called me at about 11pm that night to help him stay awake and Madelyn woke up with bad dreams and got to talk to him too.  She was bawling in the phone saying, "daddy I just want you home, I can't sleep when you are gone." Scott drove a couple more hours then slept in his car and woke up early and was able to be home by 8 am the next morning!  The kids (especially Madelyn) were really happy!

Being apart makes me appreciate being together even more.
