Musical Ian

Ian is such a funny kid, he loves music.  Here he is giving us a show with his toy trumpet



Rockin out on the keyboard, he knows which buttons to push to make different beats and songs


and dancing, he asks to dance to "Rio" almost daily.


When he isn't practicing his musical talent he watches football with dad (yeah Ian that is how I feel about the sport too)

 builds forts with Maddy
 lets Maddy read him books in the morning so mom can get an extra few minutes of sleep
 and loves to snuggle with his family, mostly with his mom, but here he was letting Madelyn hug him on the couch

He is seriously the cutest little boy. I love his little personality. I love the sweet pics of him and Maddy cuddling. Love it!!!

We just watched all of the videos several times after several requests from B & L. Lizzie looked at me while watching them and said "I'm laughing." Ian is so adorable.

Dare Essay winner

 (Early Spring 2022)  Ian was selected to read his essay at his DARE graduation! They called the top three essays for each class and Ian’s was picked to read for Mr Thompson’s class. They had to read their essay on the spot in front of the whole 5th grade and their parents! He was just getting over a sickness so his voice was a bit crackly but he did great! He got a big trophy too! I had a cough drop and bottled water in my purse in case he needed it, but he didn’t. Mr. Thompson pulled me aside and jokingly said that he has highly considering holding Ian back so he could be in his class again, he just thinks he is the coolest kid.  Ian has also loved Academic Team this year! Grandpa & Grandma Young Visit

Grandma & Grandpa Young drove all the way from Idaho to visit us!  It took them 2 1/2 days because they stopped at Mt. Rushmore, but they got here around 1:00 pm and we were all so excited and when Rylan got off the bus, they were there waiting for him! With G & G Young comes the I-pad which is a good way for Grandmas and Grandpas to get to actually hold their grandkids all they want.   Ian learned quite a bit from the I-pad just from their time here.   Ian has learned to say, "cheese" whenever someone points a camera at him  I am sorry to say that we didn't do that much, and when I asked them what they wanted to do they said that just wanted to watch me be a mom and play with the kids. Rylan and the Beginning of Mission Prep

(Early Spring 2022) Rylan was able to have one last percussion season.
