Christmas Videos

Here are some classic videos that I took this Christmas. This one has a story behind it. Grandpa and Grandma's new house has a fancy new gas fireplace and with the help of Anna pushing the button on the thermostat, my dad convinced Rylan that he could do magic. He told Rylan that he went to magic school as a young boy and could often make fires pop up in the fireplace. He showed Rylan that to turn it on you have to twirl your arms in a circle and then point to the fireplace. Rylan really wanted to try it and what do you know HE DID IT! It was so funny, when his older cousins came over Rylan told them..."hey guys, did you know that Grandpa went to magic school?"

Scott got me a fancy new video camera that I can upload onto my computer and make movies with, it records in HD so I have to upload them through YouTube first since they are such big files. Here is a video of Maddy playing her mini piano, which she loves. She had to tell everyone what was going on in her diaper at the time, which was a crowd pleaser too.


And last but not least are some pictures of Madelyn and Ben. Sweet cousins. They were playing pretty good until Ben helped himself to one of Maddy's snacks one day. Oops! Don't mess with Madelyn and her food! From then on, Maddy was completely mean to him, screaming and hitting if he even came near her. They had some good moments though.

i'm very impressed with rylan's magical talents!! and it won' let me watch the maddy video---says i need to make sure were friends or something---duh---we are friends let me watch it you tube!

Dare Essay winner

 (Early Spring 2022)  Ian was selected to read his essay at his DARE graduation! They called the top three essays for each class and Ian’s was picked to read for Mr Thompson’s class. They had to read their essay on the spot in front of the whole 5th grade and their parents! He was just getting over a sickness so his voice was a bit crackly but he did great! He got a big trophy too! I had a cough drop and bottled water in my purse in case he needed it, but he didn’t. Mr. Thompson pulled me aside and jokingly said that he has highly considering holding Ian back so he could be in his class again, he just thinks he is the coolest kid.  Ian has also loved Academic Team this year! Grandpa & Grandma Young Visit

Grandma & Grandpa Young drove all the way from Idaho to visit us!  It took them 2 1/2 days because they stopped at Mt. Rushmore, but they got here around 1:00 pm and we were all so excited and when Rylan got off the bus, they were there waiting for him! With G & G Young comes the I-pad which is a good way for Grandmas and Grandpas to get to actually hold their grandkids all they want.   Ian learned quite a bit from the I-pad just from their time here.   Ian has learned to say, "cheese" whenever someone points a camera at him  I am sorry to say that we didn't do that much, and when I asked them what they wanted to do they said that just wanted to watch me be a mom and play with the kids. Rylan and the Beginning of Mission Prep

(Early Spring 2022) Rylan was able to have one last percussion season.
