My niece M'Lynn finally turned 16 and what did she ask for her birthday? A trip to come visit US! We felt so special! Our waitress was no exception she threw our paper cups and napkins at us, called me a cheapskate for ordering water, wondered why Vilma talked funny then called her the foreign girl the rest of the time. We have become regulars at our little lake that is at the end of our street. We go there in the evening and walk around, explore the wildlife, (there are frogs, turtles, beaver, ducks, and all sorts of birds that I have never seen before), we even picked up some trash to fulfill one of Rylan's cub scout goals. Last night the boys decided to try out fishing since we can see fish jumping for bugs. Rylan caught a couple, mostly perch: Maddy and Ian and I went to go visit for a bit, Maddy was infatuated with the worms, she liked watching them wiggle and she touched them once. A couple nights ago when we saw the ducks we had the following conversation: Me: Maddy look at those ducks!
